MaxPro Hockey Adds Women's Pro Player To Coaching Staff

We are happy to announce that MaxPro Hockey has added Jetta Rackleff, a member of the Boston Blades in the Canadien Women's Hockey League to our coaching staff for the 2018-2019 season. Jetta will be joining the staff as Goalie Coach In-Residence and will be helping train the goalies on our various teams throughout the season.

Jetta, a world class goalie, is an Oregon native who recently moved to Boston to play her second year of professional hockey with the Boston Blades in the Canadian Women's Hockey League.   Jetta also played NCAA Div. 1 hockey at Rochester Institute of Technology where she was afforded the wonderful opportunity to become the first D1 athlete to graduate from their engineering program. Majoring and minoring in chemical and mechanical engineering respectively. During her time at RIT, she won two conference championships and made an NCAA Elite Eight appearance. With a diligent support group for my education, I had the honor to join the Dean's List, the College Hockey America All-Academic Team, the RIT Women's Council Scholars, RIT Trustee Scholars and the Women's Career Achievement Scholars.

In addition to her professional career with the Blades, she plays goaltender for Team USA in inline hockey, where she recently returned from Nanjing, China. She competed in her eighth Senior World Championships winning our fourth gold medal for the red, white and blue.  Lastly, she is a U.S. Ski Speed Development Team Alumni.

"Our strategic plan is to build this program with great role models and coaches and the fact we can add someone of Jetta's character and experience will help provide someone for our young players to look up to.  This further reinforces our commitment not only to our girls players, but our entire club," noted Max Gratchev.

Rackleff's appointment comes on the heels of our 2018-2019 coaching staff announcements and players will have an opportunity to meet with her during the tryouts.
