With the ongoing risk and increasing spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Dane County Area Youth Football League has made the responsible yet difficult decision to cancel the 2020 tackle football season.

 

The DCAYFL Board of Commissioners will continue to work alongside local and state public health officials to evaluate the guidelines and recommendations for contact sports while considering alternative opportunities for the spring.  

 

A virtual Board of Directors meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 19th at 6:00 PM to further discuss the 2021 season.

 

We understand the important role youth sports have on a child's life and are therefore hopeful that we will be able to continue our work next season.  It is with great sadness that we must bid farewell to all of you until then.  

 

We appreciate your understanding during these uncertain times and look forward to brighter days ahead.
