Nor-Gwyn 12U Hawks clinch spot in Ripken Baseball State Playoff Tournment

The 12U Hawks opened the PA Ripken Baseball District 4 Playoff Tournament last Friday night with a tough loss to Doylestown.

They were resilient on Saturday and Sunday by defeating neighboring rivals Montgomery and Hatfield-Towamencin and revenging their loss with a victory against Doylestown. The victory over Hatfield-Towamencin was a hard-fought, come-from-behind, extra-inning battle. Against Doylestown, they were victorious in storming back from a 7-3 deficit. This win clinched a spot in the PA District 4 Ripken Baseball Playoff Tournament Final as well as a berth in the Ripken Baseball State Playoff Tournament the weekend of July 7th!

On Monday evening, the Hawks finished as Runner-Up to Warrington in the PA District 4 Ripken Baseball Playoff Tournament.
