Crescenta Valley Little League (CVLL) has once again proven their mettle, sending five All-Star teams to the District 16 tournament, and finishing with an impressive four championship titles.
Farm Division (8U): A Perfect Streak
The Farm Division, with its youngest players, kicked off CVLL's winning streak with a flawless performance. Going 28-0 over three games, the 8U team clinched the Farm Division title for the second consecutive year. This back-to-back victory speaks volumes about the team's skill and teamwork, setting the tone for the tournament.
10U Division: A Battle Back to Glory
The 10U All-Star team faced a challenging start with a loss in their opening game, but they refused to back down. After regrouping, they stormed back to win four straight games, ultimately securing the District 16 title and a spot in the Sectional tournament. Their resilience and determination under pressure made their victory all the more rewarding.
11U Division: Tough Foes, Strong Finish
The 11U team faced their own set of challenges, particularly against a tough Foothill team, but their persistence paid off. After a hard-fought battle, they claimed the 11U District Championship and are now gearing up for the Sectional tournament, where they hope to continue their strong performance.
12U Division: Dominating with Confidence
The 12U team demonstrated sheer dominance throughout the tournament, winning their District Championship with a commanding performance across two games. Their consistency and teamwork were evident, making them a formidable force as they look ahead to future challenges.
Senior Division: A Valient Effort
Though the Senior team fell short in the final, losing to a strong San Marino squad, their determination and sportsmanship did not go unnoticed. They put forth an incredible effort throughout the tournament and should be proud of a season full of hard work, growth, and dedication.
