Crescenta Valley Little League Dominates District 16 Tournament of Champions with Four Titles

Crescenta Valley Little League (CVLL) delivered a commanding performance in the District 16 Tournament of Champions, emerging with four division titles in a clean sweep of the competition.

The championship run began with the Senior Division, where High Temp clinched gold and set the tone for what would be a remarkable tournament for CVLL. In the Farm Division, Oceanview Sports followed suit with a dominant 10-0 shutout, securing the league’s second title.

The momentum continued on Monday, June 16, as CVLL crowned two more champions. In the Minors Division, Becker Mastering edged out a tough Tujunga team in a hard-fought battle. Later that evening, Gangi capped off the sweep with an impressive 11-5 win in the Majors Division—marking their fifth victory of the tournament and sealing CVLL’s fourth championship.

When asked about the league’s recent success, Website Manager Manny Wong credited the community and leadership at the core of CVLL.

“I feel our community plays a huge role in the success the league is experiencing,” said Wong. “It starts at the top with our President, Justin Kennerly. The volunteers at CVLL are incredibly selfless and always put the league first.”

With strong leadership, committed volunteers, and talented teams across all divisions, Crescenta Valley Little League has proven once again that it is a force to be reckoned with in District 16.
