Former Princeton FC, PU and Current Professional Player Attend Sessions With PFC Teams

Antoine Hoppenot played soccer for Princeton FC since he was 9 years old. After he graduated from Princeton Day School and our soccer club program he played college soccer in Princeton University between 2008 and 2011. During his time at Princeton, Antoine was named First-Team All-Ivy in 2011, Ivy League Player of the Year, semi-finalist for the Hermann Trophy, second-team NSCAA All-America, third-team College Soccer News All-America, first-team All-Ivy and first-team All-Region in 2010, first-team All-Ivy League and third-team All-Region by the NSCAA in 2009, and second-team All-Ivy in 2008.

His professional career includes playing for MLS Philadelphia Union, FC Cincinnati, Reno FC, Tampa Bay Rowdies and Louisville City FC (current team).

The practice with team Boca (photo with Antoine in the middle) and the following meeting with was a great opportunity for the Boca players to spend time with a former PFC and current pro-player and learn more about the life, success, challenges and opportunities of a home-grown professional player. After playing in practice with the team Antoine stayed for a Q&A session, where the Boca players learned a lot about soccer college recruitment, professional soccer career in US and much more.

We would like to thank Antoine for stopping by and spending time with the players! They were truly inspired.
