It's How You Play the Game!

RECREATIONAL PROGRAM OVERVIEW
At every level of our Club, we want players to both improve at soccer, as well as love and play the game for the rest of their lives. Our Recreational program is geared for a wide range of players. We provide soccer for payers new to the game and range to those who are ready compete at the competitive level with every level in between!

What is Recreational Soccer?

Saint Vrain FC offers both an In-House Recreational and a Travel Recreational Program. In-House is an 8 game season with all games played Longmont. In contrast, Travel Rec plays home games in Longmont and away games at other club's home fields. All SVFC teams practice locally. These programs are designed to introduce players to soccer, have fun, and strengthen friendships. Players not only build relationships with their teammates, but get the chance to improve their skills with a choice to play competitive soccer or continue in the fun and light-hearted atmosphere of recreational soccer. All players receive equal playing time, and it is intended to be for fun. The score doesn't matter!

Practices will be determined by your coach's availability. We have teams that practices on every day of the week during after school times. You are able to make special requests in the comments box while registering. We try to honor all special requests provided their is a team meeting each request.

I'M WORRIED ABOUT THE COST. CAN SAINT VRAIN FC HELP ME WITH THAT?

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SAINT VRAIN FC AND OTHER CLUBS IN THE AREA?
Saint Vrain FC is the only community-first soccer club with a performance-based soccer program for everyone.

We strive to create great people, not just great soccer players. Over the years, our club has gained a state wide reputation for player development and great sportsmanship on both sides of the field – from players, coaches, and parents. The club is also heavily involved in the community and is one of the only clubs in Colorado to participate in the TOPSoccer program. Saint Vrain FC is much more than a youth soccer club. We strive to build a community around the world’s favorite game and get as many people involved as possible no matter what level they play at.
WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?
The Fall season starts with practices in late August and games begin the weekend after Labor Day. The Spring season begins with practices around the first of March, and games are on Saturdays from mid-march to mid-May finishing before school lets out.
WHEN AND WHERE DO WE PRACTICE?
Practice times and locations are based on where everyone on the team lives, but ultimately decided on by the coach. Once you register and are placed on a team, your coach will get in touch with you to give you all the information you’ll need. To get registered, please log in to your account, or create an account at stvrainfc.com. From your account page, you can choose the In-House Rec option from the available programs.
HOW DO SPECIAL REQUESTS WORK?
If you have a special request (my child would like to be on a team with XYZ), you may submit your request at the time of registration. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but they are easier to fulfill if the player is registered early. To get your child registered, please log in to your account, or create an account at stvrainfc.com. From your account page, you can choose from the available programs.
WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH?
You will hear from your coach no later than 2 weeks before the season begins. To be placed on a team, your child must be registered for the season.
WHERE DO I GET MY UNIFORM?
Recreational jerseys are available at the St. Vrain FC office (795 South Sherman St). For the U4-U8 age groups, players will need green and white jersey's. At U9-U10, players get a different uniform complete with shorts and socks for both home and away games. While jerseys are available at the club office, complete uniforms and fan gear (hoodies, hats, etc) is available on our SOCCER.COM site.
