Skills Challenge Update

Dear Parents,

Skills Challenge is almost upon us. A few housekeeping notes and a large inclement weather caveat. You should have received your child's team's time slot from your coach. If not, please follow up directly with your child's coach. Upper Minors and Coach Pitch teams will be spread throughout the morning, while the first Lower Minors teams will start mid-morning and Majors will start late morning and continue through the early afternoon.  The players should attend the Skills Challenge in their team uniform, the same as they would for a game.

Unfortunately, the weather does not look promising. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather and the field conditions throughout the day on Friday. We will communicate any changes as soon as we know them. However, we intend to make every effort to conduct the skills challenge and, therefore, it may be early Saturday morning before we are able to make a final determination on field conditions.  Regardless of weather, even if the fields are unplayable, volunteers will still be at the field on Saturday to accept any donations that players have raised. We will also have the "store" set up so that players can exchange any points they earned via fundraising for items in the "store". If you have money collected, please arrive at your team's designated arrival time so that we can manage this process smoothly. We appreciate everyone's understanding as we deal with Mother Nature.
