Team and Program Information for the 2024-2025 Season
ALL programs will be led by ME Directors and our hand-selected Gold Medal Squared Certified Coaching Staff.
We are excited to announce our partnership with Off The Bench Wellness, owned and operated by ME Coach, Hayley Garick, who is a certified Athletic Trainer and Injury Prevention Specialist. At EVERY practice, Hayley and her staff will lead our athletes through a series of exercises that will focus on injury prevention, strength, conditioning, balance, coordination and core stability.
In addition, our ME Directors will incorporate training opportunities that focus on watching/evaluating game and practice film, team building activities, leadership training, mindfulness, and emotional maturity.
Travel Teams
Miami Elite plans to field 2-3 travel teams, ages 11U-13U for the 2024-25 club season. Tryouts will be held in July and season will run from December 2024 through June 2025. All teams, practices and training sessions will be managed by ME Club Director, Julie Doan Kurenuma.
Practices and workout sessions will be held twice each week and 1-2 tournament/play dates each month. Attendance is strictly enforced.

Travel Team Registration Process

2. Register with AAU Volleyball. Miami Elite Club Code: W3CCB4
3. Download and complete the AAU Notarized Medical Release Form.
4. Attend the travel team tryout on July 17, 7:30-9:00pm.
Local League (9U-12U + 13U-15U), January-April
Practices will be held twice each week and we will host 4 weekly tournaments each month, from January-April.
In addition to planning practices which focus on intense fundamental training of all skills, technique and game play at every practice, there will be a dedicated time slot for all athletes to complete agility, coordination, strength and jump training. Further, our ME Directors will incorporate weekly sessions that will teach about leadership, team-building, emotional maturity and mental toughness.
We believe in training and building a complete, well-rounded athlete both physically and mentally.
Attendance at ALL practices, trainings, team events/sessions, and tournaments are mandatory.

Small Group Skills Clinics - Intermediate & Advanced Training
Small Groups Clinics will be run by ME Director, Coach Julie Doan Kurenuma and are a great opportunity for athletes to train in a smaller coach-player setting, maximizing ball touches and player feedback. Clinics will focus on all skills, with an emphasis on technical training. This is NOT a beginner-level clinic; athletes should have previous experience and a solid knowledge of the game.
