You may have heard of the very serious car accident that occurred on October 29, 2015 involving two young men.  One of the young men, TJ Drahuschak, was critically injured and remains in the hospital.  TJ is a 16 year old junior at Notre Dame High School and the accident occurred on the way to school.  The Drahuschak family lives in the Brookside Estates section of Mallard Creek.  TJ’s injuries have required him to have many, many units of blood and his family has requested that people donate blood in his honor. 

Florence Township will host a blood drive conducted by Community Blood Council of New Jersey, Inc. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The blood mobile will be in the back parking lot of the municipal building.  We will be promoting this blood drive on our website and facebook page as well as through the school system.  You may also visit the Community Blood Council's website http://givebloodnj.org/
