Financial Assistance Policy & Application


Elburn Baseball & Softball (“EBS”) operates on a not-for-profit basis and, as such, is committed to keeping the costs associated with its programs reasonable and affordable for participants and their families. Nevertheless, the Board of Directors recognizes that some families may not be able to afford the costs of participating in EBS programs. Accordingly, each year the Board will budget funds to help offset these costs for participants demonstrating appropriate financial need. The amount of a financial assistance award will depend on the total number of applications received for any given year. In order to qualify for financial assistance, applicants must: Complete an EBS Financial Assistance Application. A new application must be submitted each year that assistance is requested. All applications for financial assistance must be received by the final registration date as set by the Board for the year in question. Participants who need assistance but do not satisfy these requirements may request that they be allowed to enter into a payment plan. The Board will consider all such requests in view of their fiduciary obligations to the league.
