GRADES K-1-2

This coed instructional basketball program is held on Saturday mornings. The program is designed to instruct players in the FUNdamental aspects of the sport, while encouraging them to enjoy themselves and make new friends. This program does not stress competition, but recreation and good sportsmanship. There will be two sessions: Beginner (K and new 1st/2nd graders) and Advanced (returning 1st/2nd graders) who are eager to learn with a more advanced group. This session is set to begin on Saturday, December 16 at the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).

GRADES 3-4

This is a team-based program with separate teams for boys and girls. This division continues to be an instructional program and will participate in the Lamprey River Basketball League with games against surrounding communities with games against surrounding communities. Games are held over the weekend and will begin in January. Practices are held in the MPR and will begin end of November based on coach and gym availability.

GRADES 5-6 and 7-8

This is a more competitive program with separate teams for boys and girls. These teams will also participate in the Lamprey River Basketball League with games against other southern New Hampshire teams in the neighboring communities. Games are held over the weekend and will begin in December. Practices are held in the Chester Academy gym and will begin in mid-November.
