Winter 2022-2023 Registration is OPEN!

Registration for the upcoming 2022/2023 Blue Eagles Basketball Winter season is now OPEN for all Nazareth youth in Kindergarten thru 12th grades!  The registration deadline is Sunday, October 2nd.  Simply click on the "Register" button on the top right-hand side of this website (for new members) to begin, or click on "Login" for returning Blue Eagles Basketball members.  

Registration fees for the upcoming season will be $165 per child for kids in 3rd grade or higher and $140 per child for kids in the "In House" 1st and 2nd grade levels.  New for 2022/2023, a co-ed division specific for kindergartners, which will be $65/child. 

All participants in 3rd grade or higher will each receive a jersey, shorts and socks to keep as part of your registration fee.  1st and 2nd graders will receive a shirt jersey and socks.  Kindergarten children will receive a t-shirt. 

Basketball practices should begin in early-mid November with evaluations in mid or late-October for 4th-6th graders. For kids in 7th grade and higher, open gyms will begin in early November with practices scheduled to begin in late November.  For 1st and 2nd grade children, practices will begin in late November or early December with scrimmages beginning in January.  The new kindergarten program will kickoff in early January and conclude in late Feb or early March.

Practice dates and times depend on your head coach's availability and gym/court availability for your age division.  For fairness, practice times will rotate evenly as well as gym locations generally.  For 1st - 12th grades, most teams practice 2x/week with games or scrimmages predominantly on weekends.  The kindergarten program will operate exclusively on weekend mornings and offer initial skills training and an introduction to the sport for kids in a fun atmosphere.

Once again we need parent volunteers to head coach, assistant coach or be a timer/scorekeeper.  Please consider giving of your time to help our program and children.  With over 600 Nazareth youth participating in Blue Eagles Basketball annually, we need as many volunteers to help guide our teams as possible.  No coaching experience is required, we'll help you!  Coaching is just as much about teaching life skills of teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship as it is about basketball.
