Spring/Summer Basketball season complete

Registration for the upcoming Blue Eagles Spring/Summer basketball program is now open! Simply click on "My account" at the top right corner of our website to begin. Registration closes on March 24th, 2019, for the upcoming Spring/Summer program.

The Spring/Summer Basketball program is open to rising 4th - 8th graders (current 4th-7th graders) who are considered to have strong and above average basketball skills, are committed to the sport and are considering basketball as an eventual primary sport.

The Spring/Summer Basketball program can be much more competitive in nature than the Winter Basketball season. The program aims to prepare kids for competitive Middle School and High School basketball via open gyms, skills training and participation in a competitive Summer League - all under the guidance of Blue Eagles Basketball with the support of the Nazareth Schools Boys and Girls Basketball programs.

Depending on registration numbers for each age group, tryouts may be conducted to create appropriate sized rosters for summer teams. If tryouts occur and your child is not invited to participate, a full refund would be provided.

Total cost for the program is $120 per participant and includes practice gym/court fees, referees costs, league registration, uniform t-shirt and all administrative expenses (insurance, liability, etc...). Generally speaking, most teams practice twice per week in May and either once or twice per week in June and sometimes July. Games begin the end of May and take place on weekends until late July. Roster sizes for Summer teams can be larger than those in Winter basketball due to many kids taking family vacations, playing in other sports, etc... This allows for an appropriate number of kids to still be available for Summer league games and practices even with a number of kids absent at any point in time due to other conflicts.
