In House Kickoff Date Announced

Nazareth Parents,

Thank you! Your child is registered for the Blue Eagles Basketball "In House" Division. Please read the entire email below carefully as the upcoming season is about to begin!

The Kickoff to the In-House program (ages 6-7) will be on Monday, November 19th. This will take place at Palmer's Chrin Community Center located at 4100 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA.

Please review the appropriate time slot below for your child:
All Girls 6-6:45pm
Boys (Last name starts with A-L) 7-7:45pm
Boys (Last name starts with M-Z) 8-8:45pm

Please arrive a 10-15 minutes early so that you can check in and have your child ready to participate by no later than their assigned start time. Please dress your child in active basketball clothes with gym shoes and have him/her bring a Youth-sized basketball (size 27.5") with them. Make sure your child's name is clearly marked on the basketball.

The goal for the Kickoff is to provide your child with their first basketball experience of the year in a fun environment while also having an opportunity for parents, especially those new to the program, to ask any questions. We will host a short parent meeting during each of the 3 sessions.

Soon after the Kickoff event, teams will be determined with an even number of kids from each age/grade. Practices generally occur twice per week and will begin the week of Nov 26 or the week of December 3. Practices occur primarily at Lower Nazareth Elementary or at the Nazareth YMCA, but can also occur on occasion at other Nazareth-area gyms including Shafer or Butz Elementary Schools. Scrimmages will begin in early January and occur predominantly on weekends. The season concludes with a year-end tournament and party in early March.

Once again this season, Blue Eagles Basketball is partnering with Palmer for the In House program. Although most scrimmages will occur at Lower Nazareth Elementary, some scrimmages may take place at a Palmer gym. Teams will continue to be comprised of all Nazareth children or all Palmer children, but not mixed.
