Coaches Clearances info

Coaches,

Thank you for registering to volunteer as a Blue Eagles Basketball coach! Your support and efforts with the kids are the heart of our program - thank you so much.

Before we can move forward, each coach must be confirmed as being "cleared" for participation. There are two different sets of instructions - one for those coaches who coached for Blue Eagles Basketball last Winter or Summer, and one for those who have not coached for Blue Eagles Basketball in the last 12 months. If you have not received the clearance instructions via email, please contact [email protected] immediately!

Please be aware that you must be fully cleared before you will be allowed to participate as a coach and able to be on the court with kids. If for any reason you are instructing kids before being cleared, you would have to be suspended from coaching for a year.

Clearances can take some time to complete, especially for any new coaches who have not coached for Blue Eagles Basketball before. Please start this process NOW so that you're ready. Practices for many teams may begin as early as the first full week of November.

Finally, we are still in need of coaches for the upcoming season at all levels. If you know of anyone who has not yet registered, please have them email us at [email protected]. ALL coaches, in addition to receiving their clearances, must also be registered via our website.
