The past few years one of our coaches has taken the task of running fund raising efforts for a great cause, this year Patty Basile stepped up. Through Patty and a group of volunteer’s including many players from her team, $3,700.00 was raised for the “Hewlett House” towards a cure for breast cancer. Patty put in place the first annual coaches game between St Agnes and OLL CYO coaches, it was well attended and a lot of fun (St Agnes won!), we will look to build on this going forward.

Hi all, 

I know you are thinking that you probably had received the last email from me about this, but one last message for all of you.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all (and there are so many of you) who helped out during this year's St. Agnes CYO breast cancer fundraiser.  Whether you donated snacks, drinks, bought or sold t-shirts, decorated the gym, sold refreshments or played in our coaches game, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you.   Our efforts raised an impressive $3,700 this year, with all proceeds going to the Hewlett House.  More importantly, it was nice to see so many of our daughters work together for such an important and worthy cause.  I was thrilled to see teams chip in and donate refreshments together.  With God's good graces, we will never need the services of the Hewlett House, but it is reassuring to know that there is such a place to turn to if necessary.  I truly believe that we are blessed to live in such a thoughtful and giving community.  Thank you again for making this fundraiser such a success! 

My last request of you is that you please forward this email to your teams so everyone sees what a tremendous success this year's fundraiser has been.  A true testament to the awesome spirit of the St. Agnes CYO community.
