Coach Eric

Over the past 15 years Eric has coached for GORC in many sports. He followed his girls through soccer, basketball, and now for the last 9 years, volleyball. He has an affinity for sports and he enjoys sharing his knowledge with players and parents. He has become adept at coaching this diverse age group. He has 4 kids from 34 y/o to 17 y/o and having daughters ranging from 27 to 17 he can identify with parents, the struggle is real. As a parent, coaching gives him fulfillment seeing each child move from beginner through skill levels and becoming the best player they can be. Eric, with his background in fitness training, is dedicated to helping your player move to the next level and to help them succeed.

"I've always maintained the best measure of a good coach is how many kids return to play the next year, not the win/loss record. Keep it fun, people. For most kids their window of playing sports is very short, so it's our responsibility as coaches to try to keep it as fun as possible so the kids can enjoy this phase of life."
