Tincaps Lose a Heartbreaker To the Bees

The Tincaps bounced back from yesterday's loss to the Express and played well against the Bees.  Tincaps pitchers Wyatt Clodfelter, Logan Modesitt, and Steven Walsh contained the Bees big bats.  The Bees offense came from 8 walks handed out by Tincaps pitchers, scoring 5 runs in the first inning.  Down by 5 runs early, the Tincaps refused to quit, and came back 2 runs of their own in the first inning.  The Tincaps held the Bees to just one run over the next 3 innings, while the offense scored 9 more runs to take a 11-6 lead heading into the bottom of the 5th.  The Bees scored 6 of their own in the bottom of the frame for the win.  The Tincaps offense was highlighted by Luke Gordon, Wyatt Clodfelter, Davin Wilson, and Jimmy Loviscek, with Loviscek going 2-2 and Gordon going 3-3 on the day.  The Tincaps have a week off, and next take on the Bats on Monday, May 5th.
