We offer same gender teams for both boys and girls ages U6 - U14. Games will start end of August and go through second or third week in November . Practices  start 1-2 weeks prior  . All practices  will be local in the Castle Rock area. Castle Rock Storm services Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Douglas County, Parker, Monument, Colorado Springs, Elizabeth, Larkspur and Franktown and is part of the largest soccer club in Colorado.

RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

LITTLE TYKES – U4-U5 PLAYERS

Fun, Fun, FUN!  | Introduction to Soccer | Games and Practices

The LITTLE TYKES Program is an introductory program for U4 (8/1/08-7/31/09) & U5 (8/1/07-7/31/08) players. Registration, scheduling and team assignments are coordinated by the Castle Rock Recreational Center. Players will be organized into teams, some COED.  The emphasis of the program is to introduce young players to the game of soccer. Parents will be the volunteer coaches.  Practices will be in the Meadows area and Founders Park. The Fall season runs from September - November with practices beginning in August. RECREATIONAL (REC) PROGRAM - U6 PLAYERS

The Recreational Program is an entry level program for all U6 players.  A 8-game season, preceded by two weeks of practice (weather permitting). Practices can be one or two times a week and are at Founders fields in Castle Rock. Vacancies on returning teams are filled and new teams are formed on a first come, first served basis. All games are played at Founders Park.  Games may be rescheduled due to bad weather.  Teams play 4v4 with no goalies. Uniforms are required for all players. Storm uniforms kits (2 jersey’s, 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of blue socks ) can be purchased at Soccer Stop in Centennial.

Registration fee does not include the cost of a uniform.

 RECREATIONAL (REC) PROGRAM - U7 PLAYERS

 RECREATIONAL (REC) PROGRAM (U9 and UP PLAYERS)

The Recreational Program is an entry level program for all U9 - U19 players. A 8-game season, preceded by two weeks of practice (weather permitting). Practices are at various parks in Castle Rock. U9 and U10 teams will train two times each week . Our U9 and U10's will play other teams from our south office. home games will be in Castle Rock and Away games at Gates .  U11 – U18 teams will train 2 times per week. U11 and up games are scheduled by the state . Home games are played in Castle Rock and away games could be in Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Aurora, etc . Volunteer parents are “Linesmen” during game for U9 and ups. Games may be rescheduled due to bad weather. Uniforms are required for all players. Storm uniforms kits (2 jersey’s, 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of blue socks ) can be purchased at Soccer Stop in Centennial.

 Registration fee does not include the cost of a uniform.

 THUNDER PROGRAM (U9-U10 Players)

 Available at: Castle Rock

4-5 Staff Training Sessions |  Goalkeeper Training Sessions | Train 2-3x per Week | Compete Against the Best in the State

 The appropriateness of the program for each player is discussed on a one-on-one basis with a Storm Director of Coaching. The Thunder program is for the most committed player that will play competitive soccer when entering the fifth grade. Program participation is typically a two-year commitment beginning in the Fall season of a player’s U9 year. Teams will train 2 - 3 times each week and will receive 4-5 staff training sessions per season. All training will take place at Founders Park, Rhyolitel for Castle Rock Teams. Outdoor and indoor scrimmages are facilitated over the course of each year. Each Thunder team will play at the highest and most appropriate level. U9 and U10 teams will play an eight game season in Intermediate . Games may be rescheduled due to bad weather. Games may be played anywhere between Pueblo and Longmont for Intermediate.
