Rec Plus is for In-House Rec players that want to play more baseball and gain the experience of Travel Baseball. This will not interfere with or replace the In-House Rec season. During the Rec season they will play or practice on Sunday afternoons (to be confirmed). Teams will play in a minimum of three (3) tournaments around the Central Indiana area. In addition, coaches have the ability to schedule single or double-header games with local similar teams.

Time Commitment
As a selected player, you can anticipate one (1) 90 to 120 minute practice a week DURING the regular Rec Season (these are typically on a Thurs, Fri, Sat or Sun as the season draws to a close in May - usually there are about 3 practices in May based on field availability).
Once the Rec Season is completed, teams will have the opportunity to practice twice a week at NYB (June into July) with accompanying games as noted in the Tournaments above (all tournaments will be a 3 game guarantee unless otherwise noted).
In addition, coaches have discretion to schedule other games/double-headers.

- Players that want to experience Travel Baseball
- Parents who don’t want the full Travel Baseball commitment but want their son or daughter to gain Travel experience
- Parents who want all Travel games to be local (most Part-time travel games are within 30 minutes.)
- 7U-11U Players and Parents that want to get into Travel Baseball.
- 12U Players that are planning on playing Middle School Baseball, Babe Ruth, or another 13U – 15U Program.
Rec Plus is based on age and grade. The age cut-off is May 1st. For example, to play 8U, you must not turn 9 before May 1st.
Players MUST be currently playing on a Rec team. This will be confirmed and Rec Plus registration cancelled if a player is not on a Rec team.

Teams will practice once/week during the Rec season and may practice more often once the Rec season ends. Practices are typically on Sunday afternoons/evenings.
Fees: $195
Two uniforms (jerseys) are provided
You must register online for Rec Plus (just like with the regular Rec season).
Players must register prior to tryouts.
There is no fee for tryouts.If you are interested in coaching, be sure to volunteer when registering your player for tryouts. Coaches will be interviewed and selected AFTER tryouts and team selection.
