Montana Surf / Blitzz FC Futsal combo! Join us this year for more futsal fun - and have the opportunity to play both in competitive & fun league play, AS WELL AS in a drop-in, pick up futsal format.
Why Play Futsal:
Futsal is a fast-paced indoor game that allows players the opportunity to improve their footwork and become more comfortable with the ball. The game demands quick reflexes, fast thinking, and good ball control. The fast pace of the game encourages creativity, quick decision-making skills, and is fun for people of all ages.
Futsal is one of the finest teachers of the beautiful game. Many professional players credit futsal as the X factor in their technical and mental development. Soccer and futsal are two slightly different sports that share many aspects, such as mastering the ball, combining, and making quick decisions. It is estimated that futsal players get 600% more touches on the ball than in a full-field outdoor match.
The indoor, close space games allow players the opportunity to score multiple times throughout a game in an exciting environment. The offside rule does not apply to the game of futsal. Futsal allows each player a lot of quality time with the ball in a fun and safe environment. The game is intended to foster creativity and fun for each player in a relaxed environment, away from coaches and the formality of a standard game scenario.
Format:
4v4 (3 field players and a goalie)
50 minute games. (two 25-minute halves)
Ages: U-8 /2013 to U11/2009
U8/ 2013-U11/2010
Blitzz will build the teams prior to the season. Blitzz does ask that there is a parent coordinator to help facilitate the team. Each team is to have a min of 4 players on the roster and a maximum of 6. Teams will choose their own names. Names will be submitted for approval to league supervisors. Teams are encouraged to make their own shirts
Please note: If teams have less then 3 players it will be an automatic forfeit for league standings. Teams will be mixed together to play a non league game during that time. Games need to be played with the same number of players on the field. Example team A has only 3 players then team B needs to play 3 players on the field not 4 or 5 vs team A.
Based on number of teams in the futsal league there may be coed games throughout the season and tournament play.
Please note: Each team is guaranteed 2 games during the league tournament each season.
Shin guards are required.
Footwear for indoor gym space locations is indoor soccer shoes or sneakers.

Blitzz FC Indoor Facility is plastic cleats, indoor soccer shoes, or sneakers.
Ages: U13/2009-U18/2001
Players coordinate and build teams. Each team is to have a minimum of 4 players on the roster and a maximum of 6 players.

League games and pickup soccer locations:
League games will be played on Sunday this year at either Blitzz Indoor Facility or Petra Academy Games will start at 3:00 pm on Sundays.
Weeknight pickup soccer will be held at Blitzz Indoor Facility throughout the week.
Registration:
All players are required to register independently at www.blitzzfc.org. You must register for session 1 by Oct. 26th, 2020 to participate in the league.
Once all individuals on a team are registered, one team member must submit a team form with the name of team and players on the team to [email protected] by midnight Oct 27th 2020
Session 1: (Now Open )
Session 1: individual registration must be done by October 26th, 2020
Late registration will be considered for players who are able to fill a spot on a team that has been registered before the Oct 26th, 2020 deadline.
Session 2: (Opens November 15th, 2020)
Session 2 individual registration must be done by December 20th, 2020
Team Form
Late registration will be considered for players who are able to fill a spot on a team registered before the Dec 20th, 2020 deadline.
We will not accept any teams after Dec 20th , 2020 for Session 2.
Team Formation:
Teams will be single gender teams unless numbers don’t allow.
Teams will be built on the same birth year. If a team has multiple birth years the team will play in the oldest player’s bracket.
Based on number of teams in the futsal league there may be coed games throughout the season and tournament play.
If a team wants to be coed, it will need to be approved by Blitzz FC.

Cost
$80.00 per season
Blitzz this year will be combining league with pick-up soccer nights. League play will be on Sundays starting November 8th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Petra Academy and Blitzz FC Indoor Facility in Belgrade.
Pickup Soccer will take place Monday – Friday at the Blitzz Indoor facility. Times to be determined.
Referees: Anyone interested in refereeing please email [email protected]. Referees will be paid $15.00 per each game.
League Rules: https://www.usyouthfutsal.com/the-rules . There will be no timeouts and remember: NO SLIDING.
