About Our Club

Founding

 

Founded in 1951 by Mr. Donald Gemmer, Huntington County Baseball (HCB) has been the premier youth sports organization in Northeast Indiana for more than 50 years. Beginning with only three teams, HCB now supports more than 60 baseball and softball teams with over 750 participants from throughout Huntington County.

In addition to the City of Huntington, teams from Roanoke, Warren, Markle, Clear Creek and Andrews also participate in our "County Wide" programs. The HCB Board of Directors and our more than 200 volunteer managers and coaches are dedicated to providing our youth with expert instruction on the fundamentals of baseball and softball while instilling upon them good sportsmanship practices and team spirit.

 

Offered Programs

	Baseball: Developing young boys and girls from ages 4-18 into fundamental solid baseball players.
	Softball: Creating a fun and instructional environment for softball players from ages 6 - 18 is the goal of the coaches and volunteers.
