The National Programs at Charlotte Soccer Academy provide our top players the highest quality training and competition.
CSA's National level teams participate in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) in age groups U13 through U19 and are based at our home facility, the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex.
In the boys' program, CSA enters a National Academy team and a National team in each age group.
The National Academy program, which replaced the US Soccer Development Academy, is a 10-month program for age groups U13-U19.
High School Soccer Participation for National Academy team players
CSA National Academy will continue to allow High school soccer for its National Academy with the following criteria to apply.
• Players are not to miss National Academy practice or games for a High School practice.
• High school games are permitted.
• Each player is expected to attend all CSA games.
• Each player is expected to attend all CSA practices unless High school game that night.
• Each player is expected to manage their High School game schedule to avoid burn out.
• Each player must provide their coach with a weekly schedule on Sunday evening/Monday morning of each week’s schedule.
• Each player is to pick and choose the high school games they play in. (For example if there is a game where the HS is expected to win big, CSA practice session should be attended)
The National teams for boys and girls play a 6-month season permitting participation in high school soccer programs.
