Welcome!  The BFSC Spring In-House/Recreational League provides local school-age youth an opportunity to play soccer in a community league focused on fun and enjoyment of the sport and team camaraderie. We offer leagues for players in grades K-8. Coaches are required to ensure that every player is on the field for at least half of each game, and attempt to balance total playing time among players over the course of the season.  Our primary service area includes residents of either Burnsville or Savage or students attending an ISD 191 school.  Players from outside this area may be accepted as space allows. 

Team Formation                
Players will be assigned to teams generally formed within the attendance boundaries of ISD 191 public elementary schools. Numbers may require combination teams from more than one school area. Competitive players will be distributed among teams within their school area.  Players are encouraged to sign up with friends, and can request up to one teammate at registration.  It’s possible that teams will be co-ed at various levels based on registered player counts.  Volunteer parent coaches are needed for all teams.  We may also participate with neighboring communities for the U10+ levels. Late registrations (beginning 3/16/17) cannot be guaranteed their choice of team placement.

Playing Nights
U6, U8 soccer teams will play one-two games per week on Saturday mornings between 8am and noon (no games Memorial Day Weekend).  Teams will practice once or twice per week as determined by the volunteer coach.    

U10 soccer teams will play one-two games per week on Saturday mornings between 8am and noon (no games Memorial Day Weekend) and may also have an occasional weeknight game. Teams will practice once or twice per week as determined by the volunteer coach.  We will play league games with Valley Athletic Associations teams again this season.
                                             
U12/U14 teams will play one game Monday through Thursday nights.  Proposed playing nights are Monday/Wednesday for Boys & Tuesday/Thursday for girls (subject to change). Teams will practice once or twice per week as determined by the volunteer coach.  We will play league games with Valley Athletic Association, Eagan and Mendota Heights again this season.

Basic Fee listed below include 6 league games plus season-ending FIREfest, a jersey, referees, program equipment, field rental, coach education and administrative support, and Kickoff Kamp!

Club Fees are non-refundable except in the case of a season-ending injury or player relocation before 5/1/17 or if the club is unable to place the player on a team.

Scholarship assistance is available if your player receives school free/reduced lunch.  Please email a current school free/reduced lunch letter to [email protected], or mail a copy to BFSC PO Box 1394 Burnsville MN 55337.   The maximum award is 50% off the registration fee

Miscellaneous Items
- Players may not wear earrings during league games.  No exceptions.
- Players must provide their own shin guards, ball (U6/U8=Size 3, U10=Size 4, U12/U14=Size 5) and soccer cleats (recommended for traction, not required)
