PARENTS, PLAYERS and COACHES:
DROP OFFS:
Players are NOT permitted to enter any of the Neshaminy schools prior to 5:45PM. Additionally, players should NOT enter the gym if there is no coach, or other LSAA Basketball Volunteer present regardless of the time. We make every effort to arrive by 5:45....but this is not always guaranteed.
CLEANUP/ TRASH:
Coaches, Players and Parents - after each game please be sure that all water bottles, trash, clothing, etc.... are cleaned up.
- There is a trash can in the gym/ or hall for your convenience....please be sure to discard your trash when exiting.
- We have a growing pile of items that are left behind after games; basketballs, clothing, shoes, water containers, etc. If you think you may have left something behind, let us know and we will check our bin. Most of the items left at Assumption are placed on the wall shelf in the lobby area.
- Chewed gum is being left on the bleachers and even on the gym floor - NO GUM in any gym period.
- Please clean-up SPILLS immediately!!!
RESTROOMS:
In the past, there have been occurrences regarding the restrooms, at all of the gym facilities (Smoking, trash, running water, etc...). While we do our best to monitor the restrooms, if you see an issue or a potential problem please let us know ASAP! Also, younger kids MUST be accompanied by a parent/ guardian when using the bathrooms.
BOUNCING/ DRIBBLING OF BASKETBALLS/ SHOOTING BASKETS:
- NO BOUNCING or DRIBBLING BASKETBALLS in the hallways, lobby areas, off the walls, or in the bleachers!
- NO BOUNCING/ DRIBBLING OF BASKETBALLS BY SPECTATORS DURING GAMES.
- ABSOLUTELY NO SHOOTING BASKETS DURING GAMES (except during "HALF TIME"-subject to the discretion of Refs.
GAMES AT ASSUMPTION:
Games at Assumption require a lot of set up and cleanup before and/or after the 7/8 Division games. Unless you are there to HELP....you should wait in the lobby before games and/ or exit promptly after your child or player's games are over.
- All 7/8 players and spectators must remain in the lobby area until the gym is set up and ready.
- Once the 7/8 games have ended everyone should promptly exit the bleachers and the gym........unless you are there to help.
- Teams (and spectators) scheduled after the 7/8 games, must wait in the lobby until the gym is set up and ready.
!!! IMPORTANT!!! - PLAYERS (Parents):
If you are unable to make a game or practice you should let your coach know ASAP....so they can possibly make arrangements for substitute players.
ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:
- NO YELLING AT, OR ARGUING WITH:
- NO ANIMALS/ PETS OF ANY KIND IN THE BUILDINGS
- ABSOLUTELY NO RUNNING, PLAYING OR HANGING OUT IN THE HALLWAYS (at any of the NSD facilities). Other than entering/ exiting the building or using the restroom, everyone should be in the gym at all times.
- NO JEWELRY - Players must remove: earrings, rings, watches, necklaces, bracelets, etc.. prior to start of game.
