Players in the Colt division take another, large step up in level of play and competition. Pitchers are now allowed to throw all types of pitches, can be called for balks and catchers must catch a third strike. The bases and mound have moved back again and players are allowed to wear metal cleats. High School Freshmen who make a High School baseball team are not permitted to play in the Colt Division; they MUST play in the Knothole Division.
