Dear 3B Families,

As Bedford's Best Baseball organization, we are one united family with a focus on the growth and support of our youth. 

This bond through baseball extends beyond the fields and more deeply than just a love for the sport. Recently, we received devastating news about the health of one of our players, Alejandro Rivas. Much support, encouragement, and love all around are going to be needed to lift this family during a very difficult time as Alejandro was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL). 

The family will need assistance, financially, for upcoming medical expenses. We would like to ease this burden so that they can focus their strength on, most importantly, the emotional needs of their family. We are looking to raise money by raffling off a 28” Blackstone Griddle valued at $599, model #1901, on Wednesday, May 25th, at 7pm. You may purchase tickets for 25$ each at either the concession stand during game times, credit cards accepted, or through the Venmo account using the below QR code. The winner will be announced at the game and contacted. You do not need to be present during the drawing. The winner will be able to pick the griddle up at Do It Best Hardware, Lambertville/MI, either assembled or in a box.

We'd like to thank our local hardware store, Do It Best, for their generosity in helping our organization with the purchase of the grille. We are blessed to have such a supportive community, which includes not only our families, but also our local businesses.

We would love to shower Alejandro with love and words of encouragement. If your child or family would like to write a letter, draw a picture, or send a photo from baseball games, please bring these well wishes to the concession stand where they will be collected and delivered. He is currently in the hospital fighting off an infection and looks forward to mail to break up the long days.
