SYSTEMS OF PLAY:  TRANSITIONING to 7v7, 8v8, and 9v9 PLAY

This clinic is presented prior to the start of the fall season every year, and is especially recommended for all 3rd grade coaches and open to coaches in all grades!

This session will cover the basic principles of coaching U-9/Older (3rd grade/Older) players including review of the structure of MSI 3rd grade/Older programs, practice organization, attention-getting techniques, the basic principles of 7v7, 8v8, 9v9 soccer and the introduction of goalkeepers into play. It is open to all MSI coaches, and there is no fee or registration required to attend. Coaches should bring a pen and paper and are welcome to participate (please wear appropriate soccer attire including sneakers).
