Area D again is the big winner in the playoffs this past weekend during the League Champions tournament.

5 or our teams won their pool on Saturday and advanced to Sunday play.  2 others were in contention until the conclusion of the 3rd pool play game.

In U10G, Region 21 won the championship, and in U12G, R18 won the championship.  The 2 teams advance to the Western States in Bullhead City.

In U10G, U10B, and U12B, each of our teams lost in the semifinal and then took 3rd place.  The teams were Region 7 (D2!) in 10G, Region 92 in 10B, and Region 21 in 12B.  We actually came within 1 kick in KFTM from having an All-Area D final in U10G!! 

Congratulations to our 2 additional Section champions who will be moving on to the Western States Championship, and all of our great participants.  Of Section 1's 24 winners advancing to Western States, we have 8 of those teams!  2 League, 3 Allstar, and 3 EXTRA.  None of the other 10 Areas is remotely close.  Congratulations and thanks go to all of you who find and retain great coaches and provide such a wonderful program to the kids!!
