What is Classic Soccer?

The mission of the Coastal United Classic soccer program is to provide an environment to foster soccer competition at the highest level: age appropriate development of players who demonstrate talent and commitment with the desire to excel; and an appropriate level of team competition and the values of good sportsmanship to all who participate. Players wishing to play at the most competitive level possible (excluding the Olympic Development Program (ODP) play Classic soccer.

Classic soccer is for the youth soccer player who wants the maximum challenge and whose family is in a position to dedicate significant time to attend training and matches. Classic teams are highly competitive and travel around the region playing the top teams from other cities.

Classic is subdivided into three Classic divisions: Premier, Division I, and Division II. The Premier division is a league consisting of the top teams in North Carolina and travel is state-wide. Division I and Division II Classic teams are scheduled regionally limited travel, typically less than 2 hours travel time. Playing time is performance/skill based, and not as equitable as Recreation Soccer.

Classic Registration fee is $365 for 1 season (Fall or Spring - U15 & above) and $700 for full-year (2 seasons: Fall & Spring - U14 & below)

• Association Fees
• Referee Fees
• Coaches Pay/Travel
• T-shirts

Not Included is: Uniform ($91) and Tournament fees (typically $50 or less per player).

Payment Plans are available at the time of team selection. Scholarship opportunities are also available.
