Baseball

TOP Baseball aims to give boys and girls, with developmental and physical challenges, the opportunity to enjoy the full benefits of participation in a Little League program structured to their abilities.  TOP Baseball will accommodate participants ages 4 to 25 years of age or anyone enrolled in high school.  The program hopes to enrich the lives of our athletes through increased socialization and self esteem as well as incorporating the ideals of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.

The format of all TOPSports’ programs is to pair a typically developing buddy with each athlete.  In small groups, athletes and buddies rotate through several skill stations to learn and practice skills associated with the particular sport in season.  Sometimes, stations are designed as ice-breakers/team building activities to facilitate relationship building between buddy and athlete.  In baseball, after station rotations, athletes will have a turn at bat and in the field in a simulated game.
