The Highland Hornets were started in 1969. Our program is for students living in the Highlands School District ages 6 through 12. We are part of the UNITED Youth Football League (UYFL). The teams in our league are Butler, Hampton, Mars,  Pine Richland, Saxonburg, Seneca Valley, and Shaler.br Our purpose is to give each child self confidence, sportsmanship and how to work with each other. Academics are also important. How to have PRIDE not only in themselves but in whatever they do. Butler, Hampton, Mars, North Allegheny,Pine Richland, Saxonburg, Shaler, and Seneca Valley. Our games are played at our field in Natrona Heights. The location is at the bottom of Burtner Road in the Karns section of Natrona Heights. We play our home games on Saturdays starting at 3 pm.br Our purpose is not only to teach football, we try to teach sportsmanship, how to get along with each other and be a better citizen.br We also teach each individual to have PRIDE in themselves and the team they play for.
