fall season THANK YOU and upcoming board elections

EYSO families,

This has been an unprecedented and challenging year, and we greatly appreciate your patience and support through the fall soccer season. We were all grateful that the kids were able to play and even more importantly that we did so safely. On behalf of the entire EYSO executive board I wish you and your families a safe and healthy Thanksgiving. We look forward to relief from the pandemic and a return to a more normal spring soccer season.

We will notify you when spring registration opens in early February. The spring season will start in mid-April and run through early June.

Because of restrictions this past spring we were unable to hold our annual meeting in April. As a result we now need to hold virtual elections for board positions for 2020-2021 term. On next Monday (11/30) each of you will receive a link to a virtual ballot for our board elections. Each household is given one vote. Your participation and involvement is very much appreciated!

The following positions are up for election for terms from December 2020 - June 2022. The EYSO board, acting as nominating committee, has nominated the following individuals to be elected to the positions indicated. If you have other nominations please send those to me at [email protected] by Sunday, 11/29.

President
     Nominee: Nate Johnson

Vice President &House Director
     Nominee: Mike French

Secretary
     Nominee: Sonya Penn

Director of Fields
     Nominee: Mary Tisi

The following board positions will remain as constituted until their terms expire in June 2021: Luke Lemieux as Vice President & Travel Director, Laura Bowser as Registrar, and Dave Swiatkowski as Treasurer.

As indicated, additional nominations will be accepted from our membership through Sunday, 11/29/2020. A link to vote will be sent out on Monday, 11/30.

Thanks again for helping create a great soccer community and a great experience for our kids!

Sincerely,
Nate
