Euclid Memorial Classic Tournament

EYSO families,

Hard to believe that we are already at the end of another season and school year! As we approach Memorial Day weekend there are two important announcements:

1. Euclid Memorial Tournament

This weekend we will be hosting the 24th Annual Euclid Memorial Classic soccer tournament. This year's tournament will be held on the new turf fields at Euclid High School, as well as in other areas in Memorial Park. We look forward to welcoming players and parents from all over the area to join us in Euclid!

We need everyone's help as volunteers over the weekend. Each family should plan to help in at least one 2-hour shift. More help is always welcome. If we all do our part we can continue to keep our registration fees low! Sign up to volunteer on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Don't delay - sign up today so you can have your choice of time slot.

Come enjoy some great soccer, cheer on our EYSO teams, and help us make the tournament a success! We hope that every U8, U6, and pre-K family will come volunteer after the Saturday morning games at Shore Field. Other age groups are off this weekend or playing in the tournament.

2. Euclid's Memorial Day Parade

We again have an opportunity to participate in the Memorial Day parade on Monday. We will meet behind Lakeshore Theaters at 9:30 am. The parade starts promptly at 10:00 am and ends at the Euclid Public Library. Players should wear their jerseys. Parents who want to walk with us can receive a free league t-shirt!! You are welcome to bring candy to distribute to the crowd. This is a wonderful Euclid tradition that we are thrilled to be a part of! We hope you will join us!
