Baseball Parents,
As you being to think about purchasing equipment for spring 2018 please be aware that there are new restrictions on baseball bats. These restrictions will provide a safer environment for players while ensuring a level playing field. The details of these regulations, as well as a list of approved bats, can be found at www.usabat.com.
For the 2018 season, has decided to use the following guidelines for our baseball leagues:
- 2 1/4" diameter bats that do not fit the new standards CAN BE USED at all levels.
- 2 5/8" diameter bats must meet the 2018 standards and have the appropriate stamp of approval.
- It is important to recognize that Tournament Teams will only be allowed to use bats that meet the new standards during tournament play.
For 2019 and beyond all baseball bats used need to meet the new standards.
