Our UFA Dawson U13B team, Coached by Richard Ortega, had a strong showing at their season opening tournament last weekend. In their final game, the boys came back from being down 1-0 to earn an impressive win vs a strong UFA Black team (3-1). Congratulations boys!

With heavy hearts, we announce that Kevin Duane Tauber, age 52, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA following a short, but valiant, battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Dawson County Parks & Recreation has a new, mandatory TURF SHOE POLICY for all practices. The turf shoes can be worn during games, however we recommend each player wear soccer cleats.
