03 Team Finishes 2nd at World Championships!
From July 31 through August 2nd, the Futsal Factory 03 team took on the World's best at the USA Futsal World Championships. The team started pool play agains last year's World Championship Runner-Ups, City Futsal out of Dallas, TX. After a hard fought win, the team breezed through the remaining pool play.
From there the team advanced to take on last year's World Champion, Rio De Janeiro from Brazil. The team pulled out the 6-4 win which set up a rematch with ABK from this year's National Championships. The game was tough and physical seeing multiple fouls and several cards. The team ended up on the short end as ABK played well and were able to execute, securing their win.
The team finished as Runner-Up and we are very proud of their efforts. The team will hit the outdoor pitch before starting back in November to see how far they can go this year!
