NJ YOUTH SOCCER OPENS 2018-2019 STATE CUPS REGISTRATION

Registration Open for National Championship Series, Presidents Cup and Commissioners Cup (11U – 14U)

As a proud NJ Youth Soccer member and host of a NJ Youth Soccer sanctioned tournament, we communicate that registration is open for New Jersey Youth Soccer’s 2018-19 State Cups competitions, which includes the National Championship Series, Presidents Cup and Commissioners Cup.

To register for State Cup competition, teams will use the link provided below for the respective tournament by the early registration deadline on August 20th for reduced pricing, or the final registration deadline on August 27th.  The tournament registration will be held through the GotSoccer platform and participating teams will be eligible for GotSoccer ranking points.   If your team is not in GotSoccer (with the same roster as the NJYS roster), then you will need to create an account first.   For assistance in the registration process, please contact Lorie Hynes at [email protected].  The fall schedule for State Cups can also be viewed ONLINE

The National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing winners from each state the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.

  • Fees:  $225 (early registration by August 20th), $250 (between August 21st - August 27th)
  • 11U and 12U (9v9), 13U & 14U (11v11) Register Here

The Presidents Cup is a national tournament that is designed to create a high-level competition for teams that are looking to play against teams of similar abilities, where those teams that advance will play for a regional or possibly a national title.

  • Fees:  $200 (early registration by August 20th), $230 (between August 21st - August 27th)
  • U11 and U12 (9v9), 13U & 14U (11v11) Register Here

The Commissioners Cup is a tournament that was successfully introduced this past year and hosts travel teams in the U11 to U14 age groups in the fall, with the U15 and U16 age groups participating in the spring/summer. This state-only tournament is designed to create a challenging and enjoyable event for teams that do not play in the National Championship Series or Presidents Cup.

  • Fees:  $160 (early registration by August 20th), $185 (between August 21st - August 27th)
  • 11U and 12U (9v9), 13U & 14U (11v11) Register Here

Players and teams may only enter one State Cup competition. Preliminary matches are hosted by one of the competing teams, while the semifinals and finals are hosted by NJ Youth Soccer at a neutral site.  Registration for the 15U through 19U age groups is expected to open this Fall with tournament games taking place in the Spring of 2019.

“The 2018-2019 season is quickly approaching, and we are excited to host the State Cup tournaments,’ said Evan Dabby, NJ Youth Soccer Executive Director.  “Through our three levels of State Cup play, we are able to accommodate teams seeking various degrees of competition.  Last season’s tournaments were very successful.  We look forward to further developing the event this upcoming season.”
