G7 PASSING LEAGUE – EMERGENCY PLAN & PROCEDURES

Our Commitment to Safety

At G7 Passing League, the safety of all athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators is our top priority. We have implemented a comprehensive Emergency Action Plan (EAP) to ensure a rapid and organized response to any incident that may occur during league events.

All G7 staff are trained and expected to follow these procedures at all times.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE OVERVIEW

In the Event of an Injury or Emergency:

  • Stop Play Immediately – Officials and staff will halt all activity.
  • Assess the Situation – Nearest staff member will evaluate the injured participant.
  • Call for Medical Assistance – If needed, emergency services (911) will be contacted immediately.
  • Secure the Area – Staff will clear the area to provide space for medical personnel.
  • Notify Leadership – Site Director and Field Supervisor will be alerted.
  • Document the Incident – An official G7 Incident Report Form will be completed.

MEDICAL & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

  • Certified first aid kits are available at all field locations.
  • Emergency contact information is required for all participants.
  • AED devices will be identified and accessible at host facilities when available.
  • Only authorized personnel may assist with injured participants.
  • Parents/guardians will be notified immediately in the event of a minor injury.

STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Staff & Officials

  • Maintain awareness of all gameplay and surroundings
  • Immediately report any injuries or unsafe conditions
  • Assist with clearing the field during emergencies

Gate Staff

  • Maintain access points for emergency personnel
  • Assist with directing EMS to the correct field location
  • Help control crowd flow if needed

Site Directors / Supervisors

  • Take control of the situation upon arrival
  • Coordinate with emergency responders
  • Ensure incident documentation is completed

WEATHER & ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

In the event of severe weather (lightning, heavy rain, unsafe conditions):

  • Games will be delayed or suspended immediately
  • All participants must clear the fields and seek shelter
  • Updates will be communicated by G7 staff and officials

INCIDENT REPORTING

All injuries and incidents must be documented using the official G7 Incident Report Form.

  • Reports are completed by staff immediately following the incident
  • Information collected includes participant details, description of incident, and actions taken
  • Reports are reviewed by G7 leadership for follow-up and safety improvements

PARTICIPANT & SPECTATOR EXPECTATIONS

  • Follow all instructions given by G7 staff during emergencies
  • Do not enter the field of play unless directed
  • Keep walkways and emergency access points clear
  • Report any unsafe conditions to staff immediately

By participating in G7 Passing League events, all participants, coaches, and spectators acknowledge and agree to comply with these emergency procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved.
