Please read the following information before registering:
SEASON INFORMATION:
- Registration closes the end of December
- A mandatory player evaluation for Farm, Minors, Majors and Juniors will take place January 10 & 11
- Practices begin in February. Games begin early March and run through Memorial Day. Post-season tournaments and All Star games extend into June and early July.
- All divisions play games on Saturdays. Minors & Majors have a second weekly game that will be held on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.
- **IMPORTANT NOTE** Teams are formed via a player draft. For this reason, we are unable to take coach or teammate requests. Teams do not carry over from season to season.
- As we anticipate most divisions ending up on a waitlist, we ask that you only register your player if they are able to fulfill the time commitment of attending games and practices each week.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
- All players must register at their age-designated division (learn more about each division here)
- If you do not live within our leagues boundaries, you must select "Other" for the school choice and complete this RESIDENCY WAIVER if you have not submitted a waiver in a previous season.
- Your registration fee includes; team jersey and hat, a Foothill sweatshirt/t-shirt, team and individual pictures and an end of season trophy. *Registration fees also pay for field permits, umpires, team equipment and gear, and facility maintenance*
- A $50 volunteer fee is added to each family's registration. This fee will be refunded after you have completed 4 volunteer hours in the Snack Shack.
DIVISIONS:
- Tee Ball: League Age 4-5
- Coach Pitch: League Age 6-7
- Farm: League Age 7-8
- Minors: League Age 9-11
- Majors: League Age 11-12
- Juniors: League Age 12-14
COACHING:
If you are interested in being a Head Coach or Assistant Coach, please register yourself as a volunteer during your player's registration process. All coaches must complete a background check as well as additional trainings for concussions, etc. Before the season starts, we'll have a coaches meeting at the field with tips and techniques, so if you're new to coaching, we'll get you set up for success.
FAMILY VOLUNTEERING:
Foothill Little League is entirely volunteer-run and it is expected that all members of our league chip in and play a part in our leagues success and growth. Our kids are able to play baseball in a league like ours thanks to the amazing community of parents and volunteers!
- There will be a refundable $50 volunteer fee applied to each family's registration.
- All families are required to volunteer 4 hours in the Snack Shack during the Spring Season.
- Your volunteer fees will be refunded once you've completed your required volunteer hours.
- Coaches: once you've turned in all of your coaching requirements and have been assigned to a team, you will have met your volunteer requirements and will be refunded your $50 volunteer fee.
REFUND POLICY:
1. Cancel before registration closes - Receive a Full Refund less a $25 administrative fee
2. Cancel before uniforms are ordered (Late January) - Receive a 50% refund
3. Cancel after Uniforms are ordered and teams are formed - No Refund
