GLENS FALLS YOUTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL Organization will follow all New York State and Local City/County Guidance when it comes to Youth Sports COVID protocols. 


The goal of our league is to have a safe and fun season playing baseball and softball with our players coaches and families but in order to maintain a safe and uninterrupted season we need all members of the GF Youth Baseball and Softball League to follow League COVID 19 safety policies.

Our operation plan is as follows:

 

• We will have the large gallon jugs in each dugout and also at concessions for player and parent use. 
• We have custom yard signs that state that all spectators must maintain social distancing and wear masks at all times that will be placed next week at all areas of the facility. 
• Coaches are to wear masks at all times
• Players are to wear masks in the dugouts
• Only 2 spectators per player are permitted at each game and we discourage parents from staying at the complex during practice. 
• Signage for social distancing has been attached to all bleacher areas
• All bathrooms, concessions order window and other shared use places will be cleaned before and after each day. 
• We are only offering bottled drinks and pre-packaged food out of concessions.  The concession volunteer will wear a face mask and gloves while serving.   There will only be ONE person working concessions at a time to ensure proper social distancing of the volunteers, etc. 
• All players and parents have been instructed to STAY HOME if not feeling well
• All coaches will take attendance before each game or practice and ensure contact tracing information is available for the county if needed.

These Practices have been developed with Guidance from Warren County and Glens Falls City Officials.
