Hello DCFC West Families,

We have had a few people inquires about the new Emergency Order (MCL 333.2253) and how it affects us.  While this is an ongoing issue we must continue to follow the rules established by our hierarchy, which is our leagues and our state association (MSYSA).  They still have a two-person maximum per player per event rule and we will let you know if/when that changes.  In addition, all spectators must continue to wear masks (again, we’ll let you know the minute that is updated or changed).

INDOOR TRAINING 

We have been working closely with High Velocity to prepare our COVID processes as we begin to transition into indoor. 

To begin with High Velocity has hand sanitizer stations at every field.  Additionally HV has added a 20 minute period between games for sanitizing.  They are spraying their fields daily with disinfectants and using a UV light system for the hard courts.  We have also added some precautions such as not utilizing the bench areas to help limit contact areas. Here is what to expect:

1.   Temperature Checks at all entrances.

2.   Three designated entrances/exits based on what field you are assigned to (Click MAP)

a.    Field 1 – Entrance A

b.    Field 2 – Entrance B

c.    Dome – Entrance C

3.  MASKS AT ALL TIMES for everyone 5 years or older (not just during contact activities)

4.  Restrooms are open for emergencies only (as in please try to use the restroom before coming).

 5.  Families must continue to use our TeamSnap Covid form each day.

6.  NO SPECATATORS IN DOME

7.  Players in DOME are asked to arrive 15 mins early as we need to get everybody in and spaced properly prior to their start time.

8.  Spectators are allowed for Fields 1 and 2 under these circumstances:

a.    Limit to two per player – but we prefer one.

b.    Must observe from the upstairs mezzanine in the designated area (see map). 

c.  NO spectators on main level around the boards.

9.  Always social distance as much as possible!

Again, it is on ALL OF US to be diligent in these efforts in order to continue training in a safe environment.  As things change and evolve we will communicate those changes.
