- Practices are once per week lasting 1.5 hours. (1 hr for Mites)
- "Plus games" are added throughout the season by our scheduler. They are chosen based on the level of competition and are played at no additional cost to the parents.
- Mites and Squirts will play in the Ice Vault house league and/or Hudson Valley League (HVHL). PeeWees through Bantam play in the HVHL. Midgets will play in the Mennen league and/or HVHL and/or independent games. Practices and games will be at the Ice House and half at our opponents (within 20 minutes of the Tapan Zee Bridge). This provides us with the best level of competition available.
"Bring A Friend" to the Ice Dogs
The Ice Dogs are offering a $100 discount on 2020-2021 fees to any returning 2019-20 Ice Dogs player who refers or brings a friend to the Ice Dogs try-outs if that friend makes an Ice Dogs full season team (Mite, Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam) for the 2020-2021 season and then registers and pays all required fees to play on that team in the 2020-2021 season. The friend must be someone who has not previously played or tried out to play on an Ice Dogs team. Both the Ice Dogs player as well as the friend must identify and “claim” each other during the registration process prior to the try-outs.
The $100 discount will take the form of a refund to the Ice Dog player once all fees owed by the player and the friend for the 2020-2021 season have been collected by the Ice Dogs.
The "Fine Print"
Limit three redemptions of this offer per player. (A player will receive a maximum of $300 discount, even if he refers or brings more than three friends to try-outs and they all make Ice Dogs teams). Also, for purposes of this discount, no person can be claimed by more than one player as a friend referred or brought to the Ice Dogs. Any disputes over the applicability of this discount will be finally determined in the sole discretion of the Ice Dogs. Siblings are excluded as they already receive the larger sibling discount. Current or former NJ Ice Dogs board member players or coach's players are excluded from this discount.
