Little League of Audubon was established in April of 1950.
The first season began in 1951 with four teams named after
local organizations.
They were:
The Pioneer Club,
The Fathers Association,
The Rotary Club,
The Exchange Club.
These initial four teams were registered in 1951 with Williamsport as Minor League teams for boys ages 9 to 12. In 1953 the league expanded to eight teams and at the same time changed venue from strictly a Minor League organization to a Minor/Major League program. Each league had four teams and both Major and Minor teams had the same names. To distinguish the two leagues the Board of Directors named the Minor League program the American League and the Major League program the National League. By committing themselves to creating a baseball program for the youths of Audubon, all with the intent of making the Audubon Little League an organization that provides our children with a top notch baseball program, we can honestly say thank you to the founders of our league for creating a foundation for a program that has stood the test of time.
