The Severn Athletic Club (SAC), sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recreation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to:
-  Provide youth with organized competition in a safe environment
- Build community among participants through common interest in sportsmanship and competition
- Instill players with an understanding of the values of education-  Acquaint the players with the fundamentals of the game
- Teach sportsmanship and discipline while encouraging a love of the game
- Emphasize to players the importance of maintaining a proper balance between scholastic and athletic endeavors.

SAC has been serving the youth of Anne Arundel County for over 35 years.  Registration fees, fundraisers and donations solely fund us.  Our goals and commitments have never been stronger. SAC volunteers teach participants the fundamentals of all sports in a safe environment while striving to instill in them the values of education, sportsmanship and physical fitness.  As a part of the SAC program, players develop skills in teamwork, leadership and problem solving.  These values and skills will guide throughout their lives. 

SAC is a first class organization that takes pride in its ability to provide participants the opportunity to challenge themselves in a safe and fun environment. It is our hope to provide this opportunity to as many children as are interested. We pride ourselves on never turning a child away for lack of physical talent or financial resources.  If you are looking for program with a family atmosphere and great staff of volunteers, look no further.
