Memphis Knights Youth Sports Association is dedicated to the advancement of our youth through sports and competition. Our goal is to provide structured and competitive youth sports to any child, who has an interest in participating, learning and developing in an organized sporting environment.
We instill the importance of education because with education our children become leaders on the field, at home, school and ultimately in their community. 
For children ages 5-12 we currently offer: Competitive Cheer Squad, Tackle Football and Coed Basketball.
MKYS encourages our young athletes by providing them with lessons in Teamwork, Friendship, Leadership and Good Sportsmanship. Participation provides an opportunity for children to realize their potential and abilities, and to receive positive reinforcement and recognition when they have done well.
MKYS also provide athletes a sense of belonging, family values and an alternative to drugs, gangs and crime. We feel it is important to teach today's youth respect for authority, personal and community responsibility and accountability.
