Amboy and AYSO.  A great match!

Amboy Youth Soccer has joined the AYSO!  This is a National organization, which will help us provide a safe, fun environment for all the kids who play soccer in the Amboy, IL area. 

We will offer fall soccer for ages 4 through 18, with training that is focused on player development and having fun, not winning and losing.  Anyone who signs up to play will get the chance to play at least half of every game.  

Our region includes the cities of Amboy, Ashton, Dixon, Franklin Grove, Harmon, Lee Center, Mendota, Princeton, and Sublette.  Anyone else who wants to join us can!  

Why AYSO?  We decided to join AYSO because they provide a nationally accredited training program for all the volunteers, along with an organized coaching program for the kids.Sign up is $45.00 per child for the 2017 season.  This covers the Jersey, Shorts, and socks. 

Through AYSO, we are also able to provide supplemental Accident Insurance for all the kids while playing soccer. 

Practices
Practice will start on or after August 1.  Coaches will call families with practice times and locations.  

Games
Once we have teams set up and start practicing, each child will receive a game schedule.  The game schedules will also be posted on this site.  Games for kids under 12 will be held weeknights at the Amboy Sports Park.  
U-12 / U-10 will play Mondays and Wednesdays.  
U-8 will play Tuesdays and Thursdays.
U-6 will play Mondays and Wednesdays.
For U14 and U-19 will play on Saturdays, either at home or travelling to compete with teams from other towns.
