Baseball Playoffs 2023
Mustang, Bronco, and Pony
Bracket format with seeds determined by winning percentage during regular season. If teams are tied, they will go to head to head. If still tied, they will go by runs against in head to head. Then runs allowed.
Best seed is the Home team. Winning team reports scores and pitch counts via the ump card.
Game Play
Regular season rules apply for time limits, run rules and pitch counts. No ties.
The only difference will take place in the Championship game where there is no time limit. Run rules will still apply in Championship.
This is a true double elimination tournament. If the undefeated team in the Championship loses, there will be another game played.
Weather: Games will be considered a complete game if 3 complete innings or 1 hour of time has been played. If 1 hour has been played the score of the last complete inning will be used for the final score. If neither has been reached, games will resume where they left off.
Games must be played until completion in semi finals and championship setting. Weather will not be a reason that a game ends. Should a game be interrupted by weather, it will simply pick back up where it left off. Pitchers will be permitted to pick up where they left off as well. For example, if a pitcher has thrown 80 pitches at the time of the delay, they pick back up at that count once play resumes.
