Annually before the season, we gather to review several things to get our season started right.
If you are selected to coach, you will be emailed a date, time and location for the meeting.
Please be sure to attend the meeting as many important details will be discussed.
We look forward to working with all of you this season to make sure all the players have a great season.

CONCUSSION TRAINING FOR ALL PABSC COACHES
By taking this free, online course and using what you learn, you will be well positioned to improve the culture of concussion. Your actions can help create a safe environment for young athletes so that they can stay healthy, active, and thrive - both on and off the playing field.
Once you complete the training and quiz, you can print out a certificate, making it easy to show your league you are ready for the season.
Follow these steps to complete the course:
1. Go to this website

2. Click the icon right hand side that says Launch the Course
3. When you have completed and passed the course, you have the option of printing a certificate of completion.
4. Please print, sign and either via email or make arrangements to turn into your commissioner .
Per ORC 3707.52 as enacted by Ohio HB 143 of the 129th General Assembly, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) is required to create a concussion information sheet for participants in interscholastic activities and youth sports.
We are required to post free training programs that train coaches and referees in recognizing the signs and symptoms of concussions and head injuries.
Starting April 26th, 2013, Ohio law (ORC 3707.511) requires a youth sports organization to provide this sheet to the parent or guardian of an individual who wishes to practice for or compete in an athletic activity organized by the organization.

***Team specific colors are responsibility of the individual coaches. It is recommended that parents purchase any items after the coach is issued their team/colors.
